In May 2023. a 30-ton/day maize milling plant was successfully installed in Uganda by China WinTone Machinery. The fully automated plant produces high-quality refined maize flour, maize meal, and other maize products. The success of this project demonstrates WinTone Machinery's expertise and technical prowess in the maize processing sector.
Over the past few years, Uganda has lacked efficient maize processing technology, resulting in low efficiency, quality, and competitiveness in the maize processing industry. Despite being one of the major maize-producing countries, farmers often face food waste and low incomes, which also affects the local population's quality of life and economic sustainability.
To tackle this issue, the Ugandan government and entrepreneurs conducted in-depth research on maize processing technology and began to collaborate with professional companies from around the world. WinTone Machinery, as one of the leading companies in the maize processing industry, has leveraged its expertise and advanced technology to design 30ton per day maize milling plant to meet the specific needs of the local market in Uganda. It was equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and equipment that could process maize into high-quality maize flour. The plant also had a storage facility that could hold up to 500 metric tons of maize.
In this project, WinTone Machinery provided comprehensive services to the customer, including maize processing technology design, factory design, machine supply, equipment installation, debugging, and training. Our professional team collaborated with the Ugandan customer to ensure the success and smooth operation of the entire project. Now that this maize milling plant has started operating, it is expected to bring about significant development in the Ugandan maize processing industry.
The installation process was carried out by a team of highly skilled engineers and technicians from China WinTone Machinery. They worked tirelessly to ensure that the installation was completed within the stipulated timeframe. The team also provided training to the local employees who would be operating the plant.
The successful installation of the maize milling plant has had a significant impact on the local community in Uganda.
