Production process of oatmeal

The process of Oatmeal Processing Line is mainly divided into cleaning, shelling and separation, grading and color sorting, washing, enzyme sterilization, cutting and grading, steaming and flaking, drying and grading, and packaging.

01.Cleaning section

Cleaning section

Use equipment such as grain cleaning machines and gravity destoners to clean impurities contained in raw oats, such as wild buckwheat, straw, grass seeds, soil, sand, stones, etc.

02.Screening and grading

Graded

In the grading and color sorting section, the shelled oat grains are subjected to multi-stage screening and grading equipment to select oat grains of the same size and length, and to remove defective products such as shriveled grains, immature grains, moldy grains, etc.

03.Oat Hulling

Oat Hulling

The HTP-80 new oat shelling machine developed by WinTone solves the processing difficulties of oat shelling. It applies PLC automated integrated control system to stably produce high-quality products. The one-time shelling rate can reach 85% and the breakage rate is less than 4%.

04.color sorting

Use color The selection machine picks out the different-colored grains in the oats to ensure the quality of the finished oatmeal.

05.Washing Section

Washing Section

Because oats will attach a small amount of dust during the husking process, the surface of the oats must be cleaned before making oatmeal. Therefore, the surface of the oats is cleaned by the oat washing machine to remove the surface attachments and the dust in the wheat ditch.

06.Sterilization and Sterilization Section

Sterilization and sterilization section

The oat grains are subjected to hydrothermal treatment to inactivate lipoxygenase, remove bitterness and prevent rancidity, kill mold and sterilize, and extend the shelf life; the cooked oats are dried and cooled in a malting machine.

07.Cutting and Grading Section

Cutting and grading section

The oatmeal cutter can be used to cut the oats into particles of suitable size according to the requirements of the finished product.

08.Steaming and Flaking Section

Steaming and flaking section

The cut oatmeal enters the steamer for softening and ripening. The steamed oatmeal is pressed into thin flakes by a hydraulic double-roller flake press. The thickness of the oatmeal is controlled by adjusting the oatmeal machine.

09.Drying and grading section

Drying and grading section

The pressed oatmeal is subjected to hot air drying to reduce the moisture in the oatmeal to facilitate storage. The dried oatmeal enters the circular vibrating screen for size classification to obtain high-quality, high-quality finished oatmeal.

10.Packaging section

Packaging section

The packaging section requires the packaging workshop to be in a sterile environment. There is a layer of plastic film inside the packaging bag. The airtight plastic film is isolated from the outside world to extend the shelf life. The size of the packaging specification depends on the customer's needs. Generally, the shelf life of packaged oatmeal is 12 months.
