The bean peeling and polishing machine operates through a streamlined, multi-stage process that ensures efficient peeling, precise separation, and smooth polishing—all in a continuous workflow. Here’s a detailed breakdown of its operational mechanism:
Raw Material Feeding
After-Sorting legumes (such as soybeans, peas, or mung beans) are first fed into the machine via an adjustable hopper.
Peeling Stage
The cleaned beans enter the peeling chamber, where a combination of rotary abrasive rollers and adjustable pressure plates works to remove the outer skins,breaking the skin without damaging the kernels. The pressure between the rollers and plates is adjustable to accommodate different bean sizes and skin thicknesses (e.g., thinner pea skins vs. thicker soybean skins), ensuring a peeling rate of over 98% as claimed.
Skin-Kernel Separation
After peeling, the mixture of kernels and skins is transferred to the first separation zone via a conveyor. Here, a high-speed air blower creates a controlled airflow that lifts and separates the lighter skins from the heavier kernels.
Polishing Process
The peeled kernels then enter the polishing chamber, which features soft, food-grade brushes rotating at a moderate speed. These brushes gently scrub the kernel surfaces to remove residual skin particles, dust, or uneven edges, resulting in a smooth, shiny finish.
Skin-Powder Separation
During peeling and polishing, fine skin powder is generated. This powder is extracted through a separate airflow system connected to the peeling and polishing chambers.
This integrated workflow—from feeding to final collection—operates continuously, with each stage synchronized to maintain a steady processing speed. The absence of heat conditioning simplifies the process, reduces energy use, and preserves the beans’ natural nutrients, aligning with the machine’s core advantages of efficiency and sustainability.
