Description

The bran finisher increases flour yields during the milling process by removing flour from bran. It is used for common wheat, durum and rye. It has a throughput of up to 1.8 tons per hour, or 3.6 tons per hour if you use the double machine.

Bran Finisher is mainly used to detach adhering flour/endosperm particles from the bran to increase the flour extraction rate by impacting action between rotating beaters and drum screen.

Working Principle

The FFPS bran finisher works by separating the bran from the flour through a series of rotating screens and air currents. As the mixture of bran and flour enters the machine, it is first passed through a screen with small holes that separate larger flakes of bran from the flour.

The bran flakes are then carried by air currents to a second screen with smaller holes that separates the finer bran particles from the flour.

The separated bran is then collected and can be used for animal feed or other purposes. Meanwhile, the flour passes through the screens and is collected for further processing or packaging.

The FFPS bran finisher is designed to efficiently and effectively separate the bran from the flour, resulting in higher quality end products.
